Architectural services include density studies, programming and design services through construction documents. PLACE specializes in urban mixed use, historic preservation, residential and commercial projects. Urban design services focus on creating public places and new developments that take advantage of the existing urban context and the unique location of the community. Such work often includes pedestrian oriented streets, architectural focal points, vibrant waterfronts, and parks with community activities tied to the seasons. Main Street advisory services are aimed at revitalizing the commercial core of the community—the Main Street District. This often means repositioning Main Street in the marketplace through visioning workshops, façade improvements, new marketing techniques, streetscape recommendations, and coordinating with other organizations. Facility Evaluation services address existing facility commissioning, as well as evaluation of energy and overall facility efficiencies. |
